		Carol is returning to Shrewsbury to take part in "Here And Now: The Magic of the Eighties" on Saturday, 12th July. In addition to Carol, other artists performing their hits will be: Bananarama, Midge Ure, Nick Heyward, Heaven 17, Toyah, and headlinging the bill is Rick Astley. The concert is scheduled to start at 7:30pm, and will conclude with a spectacular firework finale. 		Tickets are now on sale for what is being billed as "The Greatest 80s Party Ever Concert". There is an excellent line-up for this one, which is scheduled to include: The Weather Girls, Bananarama, Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Paul Young, Belinda Carlisle, Heaven 17, Carol Decker, Midge Ure, Nick Heyward and Toyah. 		It isn't Royal Ascot, but it will feel like it when Carol performs. In addition to Carol, the other performers for this "Here and Now at Ascot" event will be: Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Toyah, and Paul Young. Tickets are available from the Ascot box office 0870 727 1234 between 9:00am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Children aged 16 and under get free entry (proof of ID may be requested at the gate), and please note that tickets includes the full day's racing AND the concert!.

THE IVORS - Carol has been asked to sit on the jury for the Best Contemporary Song award at this year's Ivor Novello Awards. It is the second time she's been selected for this honour, and she and Ron Rogers are previous nominees for writing "China In Your Hand." TV NEWS - Carol was a guest on the ITV1 programme "This Morning" where she made the television debut of her new single "Just Dream". Their web site has a page about Carol on it, and also features a clip of Carol's appearance, but be aware that the clip will only play if you are in the UK. NEWSPAPER ARTICLE - The Telegraph has an interview featuring Carol talking about the new single, and the new "Codelmark" technology which will allow the song to be distributed online. NEW SINGLE!!! - Carol's new single, titled "Just Dream", will be available for digital download on September 2nd. The track was composed by Carol along with Ron Rogers, and marks the first new material they have worked on together in many years. A video podcast, featuring Carol recording the song in the studio, along with interviews of her, Ron, and Jez Ashurst, who engineered the track, is available on YouTube, as well as Carol's own MySpace page. DEAN HOWARD - Fans wondering what the previous members of T'Pau are up to might be interested to know that Dean Howard is apparently going to be touring in another band. I was told that he's been playing with Toby Jepson for a while, and will be in Toby's band on their next tour which is taking place in the UK this September and October.
